Adding a Testing device for POCT




Step 1:

Select the drop-down arrow beside your username at the top right corner of your screen.



Step 2:

Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.



Step 3:

From the settings page select “Testing Device Management”.



Step 4:

Select the “Add Testing Device” button from the right side of the page.


Step 5:

You will need to enter the name of the device you are adding.



Step 6:

Now enter the description. (Example: 7 panel cup)



Step 7:

Select the specimen type from the drop-down list. (Blood, Breath, Oral Fluid, Sweat, or Urine).



Step 8:

In the Testing device panels section, select the 1st drug on the device panel from the drop-down menu. (Example: Cannabis 50 ng/mL)



Step 9:

Enter the cutoff for the selected drug for this device. (Example: Cannabis 50 ng/mL)



Step 10:

Now enter the unit of measurement from the drop-down menu for this drug on this device. (mg/dL, ng/mL, or %BAC) (Example: Cannabis 50 ng/mL)



Step 11:

Next you will be able to select the different result choices for this panel, you are able to add more options by selecting “Add new Option”. Or you may choose your own by selecting “Reset”.



Step 12:

Now to add more panels to this device, select “Add Another” and repeat steps 8 to 11 for each additional drug on the device.



Step 13:

If the device has an adulterant panel on it, select “Add Another” under the adulterant panel section.



Step 14:

Select the Adulterant from the drop-down menu.



Step 15:

Enter the result choices for the adulterant. You may add another option by selecting the “Add new Option” button or select “Reset” and clear the pre-filled options.



Step 16:

If your device has more than one adulterant panel, you are able to select “Add Another” for as many as you need.



Step 17:

Now select the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen and you have successfully added a new testing device.
