Adding Notes to Test Requests

Adding Notes to Test Requests

Veriport allows you to add notes to any test request using the message icon in the Comments column of most tables throughout the Network Dashboard. Notes help you document important information, follow up on tasks, and communicate internally or with the other party.

How to Add a Note

  1. Navigate to any table in the Network Dashboard (e.g., Service Requests, Requests Made, Requests Received).
  2. Find the request you want to comment on.
  3. Click the message icon in the Comments column for that row.
  4. A notes window will open where you can type your message.
  5. Optionally, check the box labeled “Private Note” to make the note visible only to you and your organization.
  6. Click Post to save the note.

Private vs. Shared Notes

  • Private Notes: Only visible to the user and their organization. Use this for internal tracking or reminders.
  • Shared Notes: Visible to both parties (requester and provider). Use for updates, clarifications, or coordination.

Best Practices

  • Use notes to record key decisions, updates, or questions related to the request.
  • Mark notes as private when documenting sensitive or internal-only details.
  • Review note history to track communication and updates for each request.

This feature helps improve visibility, coordination, and record-keeping across all active and completed test requests.
