In the Veriport Network, both requesters (TPAs) and providers (CSPs) have the ability to cancel a test request when necessary. However, the cancellation process is structured to ensure that both parties are informed and agree to the change. This involves two roles:
- Making a Cancellation Request: Initiating the request to cancel a scheduled or pending test
- Approving a Cancellation Request: Reviewing and accepting the cancellation proposed by the other party
Making a Cancellation Request
Either party may request a cancellation if circumstances change or the service is no longer needed. For example:
- A requester may cancel due to a change in testing requirements or scheduling conflicts
- A provider may cancel due to staff unavailability, emergencies, or site limitations
When you initiate a cancellation:
- You must provide a reason for the cancellation
- The request is sent to the other party for approval
- The request remains active until the other party responds
Approving a Cancellation Request
When you receive a cancellation request from the other party:
- You can either approve the cancellation or decline it
- If approved, the request is officially canceled and removed from your active list
- If declined, the request remains active and may need further communication to resolve
Important Notes
- Test requests cannot be unilaterally canceled—both parties must agree
- Clear and timely communication helps avoid service delays and misunderstandings
- All cancellation actions are logged in the request history for transparency
Use these features to manage your network relationships responsibly and ensure that all test activity is aligned with real-time operational needs.
