Custom Test Field Types

See List below for custom field types and the different options within the fields.

Adulterant Panel

This field shows you the adulterant panel and result for the selected device.


Size: You are able to choose if you would like this field to be small, medium, or large.


Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.


Hide on Report: Select if you would like the entry to be hidden in the final report. If this is selected the field can still be mandatory.


Featured: When selected, this will make the text bold.


Hint: Small hint shows below the field.


Help Text: Will add helpful text if the user scrolls over the ? that appears.



Basic Input

Enter any text into the field (e.g. letters, numbers, special characters).


Size: You are able to choose between a small, medium, or large box.


Placeholder: You are able to enter information (can be an example).


Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.


Hide on Report: Select if you would like the entry to be hidden in the report. If this is selected the field can still be mandatory.


Featured: When selected, this will make the text bold.


Hint: Small hint shows below the field.


Help Text: Will add helpful text if the user scrolls over the ? that appears.


Default Value: Will automatically fill this value into the field, but can be changed.


Check Box

Allows you to add a checkbox to select an option.


Size: Allows you to choose between a small, medium, or large checkbox.


Compact: When selected the label is beside the checkbox instead of on top. This option saves space.

Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.


Hide on Report: Select if you would like the entry to be hidden in the report. If this is selected the field can still be mandatory.


Featured: When selected, it will make the text bold.


Hint: Small hint below the field.


Help Text: Will add helpful text if the user scrolls over the ? that appears.


Default Value: Will automatically have the checkbox selected in this field, but it can be changed.



Date Picker

This field allows you to have another field to add a date.


Size: This field allows you to choose a small, medium, or large date box. 


Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.


Hide on Report: Select if you would like the entry to be hidden in the final report. If this is selected the field can still be mandatory.

Drop Down

Allows you have pre-entered options available to select.


Size: Allows you to choose between a small, medium, or large drop down box.


Display: What is entered in this field will display as one of the options to choose from.


Add New Option: Allows you to add more options to choose from.


Reset: Allows you to clear everything entered in the display field.


Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.


Hide on Report: Select if you would like the entry to be hidden in the final report. If this is selected the field can still be mandatory.

Lab Tested

This is a yes or no field for whether the test was sent to the lab or not.


Size: You are able to choose if you would like this field to be small, medium, or large.


Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.


Hide on Report: Select if you would like the entry to be hidden in the final report. If this is selected the field can still be mandatory.

Number

In this field only numbers are able to be entered.


Size: This field allows you to choose a small, medium, or large number box.


Decimal: Allows you choose if you would like to accept decimals in this field.


Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.


Hide on Report: Select if you would like the entry to be hidden in the final report. If this is selected the field can still be mandatory.


Featured: When selected, this will make the text bold.

Photo Upload

This option will allow you to enter a field for a photo to be uploaded.


Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.

Hide on Report: Select if you would like the entry to be hidden in the final report. If this is selected the field can still be mandatory.

Radio Button

Similar to the Check Box but with the multiple options ability of Drop Down.

Size: Allows you to choose between a small, medium, or large selection.


Display: What is entered in this field will display as one of the options to choose from.


Add New Option: Allows you to add more options to choose from.


Reset: Allows you to clear everything entered in the display field.


Compact: When selected the options are right after each other instead of on top of each other. This option helps save space.


Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.


Hide on Report: Select if you would like the entry to be hidden in the final report. If this is selected the field can still be mandatory.


Featured: When selected, this will make the text bold.

Testing Device

This field will allow you to choose from the list of devices you have added in the system.


Size: You are able to choose if you would like this field to be small, medium, or large.

Testing Device Panel

This field shows you the testing panel and result for the selected device.


Size: You are able to choose if you would like this field to be small, medium, or large.

Text Area

This field will allow you to have a field to enter text for notes or any information you would like entered for the test.

Size: You are able to choose a small, medium, or large text box. The size needed would depend on the information you want entered in this field.


Placeholder: You are able to enter information (it can be an example).


Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.


Hide on Report: Select if you would like the entry to be hidden in the final report. If this is selected the field can still be mandatory.

Time Picker

This field allows you to select a specific time for this section in the custom test.


Size: This field allows you to choose a small, medium, or large time box. 


Mandatory: Check this box to make the field mandatory to fill out.
