Delivering an Out-of-Network Test to the Requester

Delivering an Out-of-Network Test to the Requester

Once you, as a provider (CSP), have completed an out-of-network test request—including lab processing and MRO review—you must deliver the final result back to the requester through Veriport. This step ensures the requester receives verified results and the request is marked complete in the system.

When to Deliver

Use the delivery function only after:

  • The collection has been completed
  • The specimen has been processed by your lab
  • The result has been reviewed and finalized by your MRO

Steps to Deliver an Out-of-Network Test

  1. Navigate to the “Out-of-Network – Inbound” tab in your Network Dashboard.
  2. Open the “Out-of-Network To Be Delivered” table.
  3. Locate the completed request you are ready to deliver.
  4. Click “Deliver” or the equivalent action button next to the request.
  5. The MRO report will automatically sent.

What Happens Next

  • The requester is notified that the result is available in Veriport
  • The request status is updated to “Completed”
  • The result file is archived in the requester’s test record

Key Considerations

  • Only MRO-reviewed, finalized reports will be sent
  • Double-check the report to ensure it is the correct report.
  • Timely delivery helps maintain strong requester relationships

Proper and prompt delivery ensures your services are recognized and requesters receive the documentation they need to meet compliance and reporting standards.
