Out-of-Network – Outbound

Out-of-Network – Outbound

The Out-of-Network – Outbound tab of the Network Dashboard allows you, as a requester (TPA), to manage test requests sent to providers (CSPs) who fulfill them using their own lab, MRO, and supplies. These are considered out-of-network tests. This workflow is used when your organization does not supply the lab, MRO, or collection materials for the test.

Results from out-of-network tests are routed back to you through Veriport after being reviewed by the provider’s MRO. Additional costs may apply, and turnaround times can vary based on the provider’s processes.

Tab Structure

This tab is divided into three functional tables to support the full out-of-network test request lifecycle:

1. Out-of-Network Service Requests Made

This section displays pending requests you’ve submitted to out-of-network providers. These requests are awaiting acceptance or approval by the provider.

  • Track which providers have not yet responded
  • Follow up with providers if a request remains unaccepted
  • Withdraw or edit a pending request if necessary

2. Out-of-Network Service Requests

This table lists all approved and active requests that are being processed by providers. Once a provider accepts your request, it moves from the “Requests Made” section to here.

  • Monitor status updates (e.g., collection scheduled, sample in transit, result under MRO review)
  • View progress on each request in real time
  • Access any available documentation or collection details

3. Out-of-Network Service Providers

This is a searchable directory of available out-of-network providers. You can use this section to identify and initiate new service requests.

  • Search by location, service type, or provider name
  • Review provider availability, pricing, and capabilities
  • Send new out-of-network requests directly from this view

Key Considerations

  • Out-of-network tests may include additional fees set by the provider
  • Providers use their own lab and MRO, not your accounts
  • Results are returned to Veriport and then routed to you
  • Consider reaching out to providers if turnaround time exceeds expectations

Use this tab to maintain full visibility over out-of-network test requests and ensure timely follow-up on pending or active tests.
