Requesting an Alternate Random Selection
From your Veriport dashboard, scroll down to the “Donors Selected for Random Testing”
section. This section of your dashboard will display the donors that have been selected
for random testing. You are able to toggle to view all or just the pending to be completed
depending on your preference.
Next to the donor that has been selected, select the “Request Alternate” option.
A window will open up prompting you to select the reason you are requesting an
alternate selection. From the drop-down choose the reason you are submitting this
request.
*If “Other” is selected, you will need to enter a description as to why an alternate is being
requested.
Next you will need to confirm that the originally chosen individual will not be available
before the end of the random selection period.
Finally select “Submit” and your request will be sent to the TPA that manages your pool.
The TPA will then be notified that you have requested an alternate drawn and will be
able to approve or decline the request.
Once your request has been approved by your TPA, a new selection will be drawn for you.
