Setting In-Network Service Pricing for a Collection Site
When enabling a collection site for in-network services, you can define your pricing for each test type directly from the site’s settings page.
Setting in-network pricing ensures that requesters (TPAs) understand the exact cost of services you offer from that location and can make informed decisions when choosing a provider.
How to Set In-Network Service Pricing
- Navigate to your Collection Sites dashboard.
- Select an existing site to edit or create a new site.
- Scroll to the section labeled “Set In-Network Service Pricing”.
- Review the list of available services under the following categories:
- Lab Services – Includes specimen collections like urine, oral fluid, hair, and nail drug tests.
- Other Test Types – Includes alcohol testing, medical screening, and fitness-for-duty exams.
- Enter your price for each service you offer at that specific site. Leave the field blank for any services not available from this location.
- Ensure the pricing is accurate and competitive, then save your changes.
Example Services and Pricing
Here are sample entries you might see when editing pricing (for illustration purposes only):
- Hair Strand Drug Collection: 27.00
- Nail Drug Collection: 30.00
- Regulated Oral Fluid Drug Collection: 31.00
- Regulated Urine Drug Collection: 33.00
- DOT Alcohol Test: $40.00
- Fitness-for-Duty Test: $75.00
Important Notes
- Only add pricing for services you actively offer at this collection site.
- Leaving a service field blank indicates that you do not provide that service from the location.
- Prices entered here will be visible to requesters when evaluating your site for in-network inclusion.
Best Practices
- Keep pricing up to date as your service costs change.
- Ensure pricing reflects the service level and expectations for each site.
- Verify prices regularly to maintain transparency and competitiveness within the network.
Accurate and complete in-network pricing helps streamline service requests, reduce back-and-forth negotiation, and increase your visibility to requesters within the Veriport Network.
